Corriedale wool has a well-deserved good reputation. It’s a reliable, multipurpose fiber that can be a pleasure to spin, knit, or weave. Medium-soft, it has nice long staples, some luster, and well defined, even crimp, which means it has a lot of loft and elasticity. It’s a resilient fiber with enough character to be interesting and not so much that it plays a domineering role in your creative vision. - The Fleece & Fiber Handbook.
Corriedale makes great sweaters, socks, blankets and other clothing and household textiles. Each skein is 250 yards and weighs 3 3/4 +/- oz.
